Extra-fine liquid thermal insulation is thermal insulation of the latest generation. An operating principle of liquid ceramic thermal insulators differs fundamentally from an operating principle of "classic" insulators. Thanks to their unique properties, RE-THERM materials have perceptible effect of energy saving applying a layer as thick as 1mm!
RE-THERM is thermal insulation resembling a paint in appearance. Thanks to the fact that the materials have thin consistency, they can be applied on surfaces of any forms and structures. RE-THERM is applied by painting materials a brush, a roller, a spraying gun of high pressure (read more about the techniques of applying in the instructions on modifications of coatings). RE-THERM coatings, including acryl and silicone, possess waterproof properties apart from heat-insulating ones.
All RE-THERM coatings mainly consist of ceramic (a content of ceramic micro-spheres is 75%...85%) and silicone micro-spheres being in a suspension state in a liquid phase of water, an acrylic cohesive and special additives. Such a mixture makes RE-THERM coatings waterproof, flexible and at the same time resistant to external effects (ultraviolet, drops of temperature and humidity).
Heat conductivity of liquid thermal insulators RE-THERM is tens of
times lower than that of "classic" insulators. A coating layer of
RE-THERM, 1mm thick, applied on the surface, substitutes a layer of
mineral wool thermal insulator 5cm thick according to its
heat-saving efficiency. Moreover, a tremendous advantage of
RE-THERM is an absence of necessity to protect from weather impact
(drops of temperature and humidity, exposure to ultraviolet). An
operating-temperature range of RE-THERM coatings is -40С…
+250С.
It is reliably known that durability of "classic" insulators in the majority of cases does not exceed 2 years. Disclosure of facades shows that because of moisture and frosts classic insulator has fiber breaking and loses integrity of chambers-blisters, as a result, after as little as 1-2 seasons there is no question of its efficiency.
Besides, getting wet, "classic" heat-insulation becomes a habitat of weeds, fungi, pathogenic germs and other parasites being dangerous to human health.
A composition of extra-fine RE-THERM heat-insulators speaks for itself. Such properties as resistance to ultraviolet, flexibility at heat expansion of the base, waterproof ability, as well as ultra-low heat conductivity already speak about high coating life in entirely different environments of application. Facades and pipes being provided with RE-THERM heat-insulation will stand for at least 15 years (what far exceeds "classic heat-insulation").
