Description
Fire-resistant Mica Tapes consist of phlogopite mica paper (or
synthetic mica paper) impregnated with a special silicone resin and
a glass cloth (or Polyethylene film) as carrier. These tapes have
great flexibility and high tensile strength, and they can be used
to create inorganic, fire-resistant insulation for electrical
cables.
Type according to the mica paper:
Phlogopite mica tape, retain insulation properties at 850 ℃
Synthetic mica tape, retain insulation properties at 1000 ℃
