Chemical name: *-(*-Hydroxy**-methylphenyl)-benzotriazole

Introduction:UV-P is a benzotriazole type UV absorber. It has a high absorption in the wavelength
of **0~**0nm. It is also efficient for the light stabilization of polyvinyl chloride, unsaturated
polyurethane, polystyrene, coatings and lacquers.
 

  • Specification:
    • Appearance: white to yellowish crystal powder
    • Melting Point: **8~*31℃
    • Content (HPLC) : *9% Min.
    • Transmittance: **0nm≥*8%   **0nm≥99%
    • Ash: 0.1% Max.
    • Volatiles: 0.5% Max.
  • Property:
    • Odorless, dont bring smell to polymers.
    • Insensitive to metal ion
    • Non-flammable, non-explosion, non-toxic, harmless to health.
    • Very high photo stability for its strong ability to absorb light especially in UV region (**0~**0nm)
    • Very stable to heat and can be used in plastic which require high processing temperature.
    • Hardly absorbing visible light, especially suitable for the colorless and the light-colored plastic products.
 
  • Toxicity & Safety
UV-P can be handled as an industrial chemical provided the following handing precautions
are strictly observed:
                   a) Wear gloves to avoid contacting with skin. 
                   b) Maintain a clean and well-ventilated working area
                   c) Wear goggles and face mask whenever dust is unavoidable to prevent
irritation to the eyes and respiratory tract.
  •  Package:Net *5kg paper drum with inner plastic bag.
  •  Storage:UV-P should be stored in a closed system and be kept in a dry and dark place without any light exposure.
