C9 aromatic hydrocarbon resin is a petroleum by-product of
pyrolysis C9 fraction which is produced by pre-treatment,
polymerization and distillation processes. It is not a high polymer
but a low polymer molecular weight between *******0.

•low acid value, good miscibility, water,ethanol and chemical
resistance, the chemical stability against acid, the good
adjustment of viscosity and thermal stability.
•Generally, C9 aromatic hydrocarbon resin is not used alone, but as
promoters, regulators, modifiers used with other resin.
Application:
petroleum resin are a kind of hydrocarbon resin widely used in tyre
rubber mixing. It has good compatibility with natural rubber( NR),
synthetic rubber, polyethylene, polypropylene, SIS, SEBS, EVA etc..
It is also used as tackifier,reinforcing agent,softener and filler
etc.in rubber mixing.
Properties in rubber mixing:
• Excellent tackify property.
• Improve extensibility and spalling resistance.
• Cure time and the physical properties after sulfuration are not
affected.
• Avoid adhesive capacity to processing machinery.
• Help filling material distribute evenly.
• Proper color.
Application field recommended: mixing of tyre rubber.
