Description

Hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose (HPMC) with excellent thickening, emulsification, film, protective colloid, keep the water, adhesive, resistant enzymes and metabolic inert performance. It is widely used in construction, latex paint, pharmaceutical, polyvinyl chloride (PVC), daily chemicals, ceramics, and agricultural production.
In Construction Industry: HPMC as cement mortar water retenting agent, retarder, make the slurry pump. In plastering mortar, gypsum material, putty powder or other materials as a binder, improve the workability and extend the operational time. Used as the adornment, stickup ceramic tile, marble, plastic paste enhancer, can also reduce the cement amount. Water retention properties of HPMC to paste in the daub after will not crack by dry too fast, enhance strength after hardening.
In Ceramic manufacturing industry: HPMC is widely used as binder in the ceramic product manufacture.
In coating industry: HPMC as a thickening agent, dispersing agent and stabilizer, can make the coating brightness is exquisite, not to take off powder, improve its flow property, etc.
In Ink printing industry: HPMC as a thickening agent, dispersing agent and stabilizer, in water or organic solvents have good intermiscibility.
In Plastic Industry: HPMC as forming mold release agent, softener, lubricants, etc.
In the production of PVC, HPMC as dispersant, preparation of PVC suspension polymerization main additives.
