light yellow, flaky or powdery crystals. Easily volatile with
special aromatic smell , highly sublime, do not dissolve in water,
can dissolve in benzene, alcohol, ethers, chloroform, carbon
disulfide and etc. Its melting point is *0.1℃, boiling point is
**7.9℃, flash point is *8.*9℃, pyrophoric point is **6 ℃,
belongs to the secondary flammable solids.Â
Application:Â It is a kind of anhydride for
making benzene, and used as material for making synthetic fibre,
2β-phenol, naphthylacetic acid, insecticide, glucide, dehrmidizer
and etc. It can used as anti-aging agent for producing pesticide,
rubber, plastic, too.Â
Transportation:Â Industrial naphthalene is
loaded in knitted bags which should be transported by trucks or by
railway and subjects to the specific requirement of
transportation.
