DRUGS & PHARMACEUTICAL GRADE

The grade of Talc we offer is handpicked and sorted to remove objectionable foreign materials. During the process of grinding, hard and coarse particles are further eliminated by air floatation, resulting in a very fine powder consisting of platy or foliated particles. The material is free from dirt and grittiness, extremely smooth and unctuous with pearly luster and sheen, low moisture content, chemically inert and able to absorb grease and oil.
 
MATERIAL :  Refined and processed Talc powder [hydrated magnesium silicate -
 Â                   Â Mg3Si4O*0 (OH)2]
 
USES : Talc is used as an excipient in Pharmaceuticals and as a Lubricant in making tablets. It              is Â used as food additive; Talc being hydrophobic, it prevents loss and absorption of
             water from animal feed, thus protecting the essential nutrients. It is used as an Â
