Paprika oleoresin is a kind ofnatural red color refined from high quality paprika, having a bright color and superior coloring strength; it is widely used in food, pharmaceutical, cosmetic, feed industries etc.
The advantages of natural pigment:
1.Most of the natural pigment derived from animals, plant tissue, therefore, in general, it has the higher security for human.
2.Some of the pigment itself has a natural nutrient, with nutritional effects, and some pigment also have pharmacological effects.
3.It can better mimic the color of a natural product, and the coloring tone is more natural.
The limitations of natural pigment:
1.The solubility of it is tiny, it is not easy to color uniformity.
2.Dye concentration is generally small , poor dyeing , certain natural pigments or chemical reaction with the food materials and color.
3.Products are quite different natural coloring agents are basically a mixture of various ingredients, and the same coloring agents from different sources , different processing methods, ingredients, there are differences. Such as extracts from vegetables and extracted from silkworm chlorophyll, were measured using a spectrophotometer, you will find two different maximum absorption, thus causing the color tone when the differences.
4.In most cases , the cost is much higher than the natural pigment pigment costs.
