APPLICATION of
HC-APP:
1. Used to prepare many types
of high-efficiency intumescent coatings for the flameproof
treatment of multi-story buildings, ships, trains, cables,
etc.
2. Used as the main flameproof
additive for expanding-type flame retardants used in plastics,
resin, rubber, etc.
3. Used in plastics (PP, PE,
PVC, etc.), polyester, rubber, expandable fireproof
coatings.
4. Flameproof treatment for
woods, plywood, fiberboard, papers, and fibers.
5. Can be used for PU
applications (thermosets) and PU foam (rigid and/or
flexible)

BENEFITS of
HC-APP:

Halogen and formaldehyde-free, non-toxic and does not generate
additional quantities of smoke.

Requires lower loadings ensuring lower cost., better properties
retention and excellent flow.

Exhibits excellent processability, good retention of mechanical and
electrical properties in thermoplastic
formulations
4. In
thermosets, can be used in conjunction with ATH, which allows a
significant reduction of the total FR filler。
5. The addition of APP as unique flame retardant shows advantages
against the ATH:
1). Lower add-on level: 1 part of APP provide the same effect that
4 parts of ATH.
2). Better transparency.
3). Low viscosity resin.
4). Lower smoke opacity at low addition level
