Tellurium copper C****0, with the content of tellurium, can be free cutting and cut the chips into short pieces. So tellurium copper is of high machinability, enabling a much higher machining speed than that with pure copper, thus ensuring a longer tool life.

C****0 has extremely high free machining value.On machinability rating scale with **0 for free cutting brass HPb ***3 (C****0)and *0 for pure copper, tellurium copper is rated as *0.

Tellurium copper also has high electric conductivity (*0% IACS) and thermal conductivity, as well asexcellent corrosion and arc resistance. Cold working or hot forming are both practicable. Tellurium copper can be forge, casted, extrused and drew, stamped and pressed.

The major applications are:
Fields that requires high electric conductivity, anti-corrosive and precise machining.
