Properity:
Potassium Sulphate is colorless or white hexagonal or rhombic
crystal or granular powder. The relative density is 2.**2. The
inversion point is at **8° C, the melting point is at ***9° C and
the boiling point is at ***9° C. It is soluble in water(*2g/**0ml
water at *5° C; *4.1g/**0ml water at **0° C) and insoluble in
alcohol, acetone and carbon bisulfide. It tastes bitter and
salty.
Application:
(1). Used for drugs (such as laxatives), fertilizer (about *0%
potassium, potassium is a quick, can be used as basic fertilizer,
seed fertilizer and top dressing). Also used for making alum,
glass, and potassium carbonate
(2). Can be used as the raw material to produce multiple-element
compound fertilizer, or as potassium fertilizer to fertilize field,
especially applicable to chloride-resistant industrial crops such
as tobacco, grape, cotton, beet.
