Performance Characteristics:
Superior resistance
tocorrosion,no
need for special care or maintenance; S**6 is smelted by using
vacuum degassing, so that the quality is more purified, the
structure is even dense and the polish property is excellent;
already pre-hardened and no need for further heat treatment,
suitable for direct mold cutting.
Applications:
S**6 is suitable for plastic molds, and has better antirust
properties for the molds used under wet environment. It is mainly
used for making of the high-quality transparent plastic moulds,
like sunglasses and optical instruments.

Heat treatment
standard:
(1) annealing, **0 ~ **0 ℃ slow
cooling or about **0 ℃ quick cooling;
(2) quenching, ***0 ~ ***0 ℃ cold
oil;
(3) tempering, **0 ~ **0 ℃ rapid
cooling .
