By using the carbon additive from HB Refractory in producing casting, it can increase the used quantity of Scrap steel and reduce the quantity of Scrap iron, or use no Scrap iron at all, HB carbon additive has follows properties: high absorptive character, no residue will be left, save production cost.
1ã€Usage：used to improve the Carbon content in steel-melting and Ductile iron foundry
2ã€Characteristica：high carbon, low sulfur, with stable effect for improving the carbon content, high absorptivity of carbon.
3ã€apply： Used in electric furnace steel smelting and cast-iron for improving the carbon content
4ã€Grain size：normal size：0.**3mm **4mm，**3mm，**5mm,**8mm,***0mm or per as customer’s special requirement.
5ã€apply methods：
1). if with simple and stable raw materials and electrical furnace bigger than 5 MTS, we recommend the Additions dispersion, arrange the mixture ratio in accordance with the requirements of carbon content, adding the carbon additive together with metal furnace material and other maerial into the bottom of the furnace, pls kindly noted: don’t mixing the carbon additive during melting, if not, the carbon additive will be packed by the residue, and this will effect the carbon absorption. 2).if with simple and stable raw materials and electrical furnace around 3 MTS, we recommend the centralize joining way, adding the carbon additive at the same time onto the surface of the iron liquid after some of iron liquid is left, and add the metal furnace material immediately, press all the carbon additive into the iron liquid, make the carbon additive totally contact with the iron liquid. 3).If with small size Mid-frequency faradic electrical melting furnace, and raw material with high carbon ,like pig iron, we recommend little adjusting way, after the steel-smelting, then adjust the carbon content, adding the carbon additive on the surface of the steel liquid, and make the carbon additive melted and absorb by Vortex mixing or manpower mixing.
