WILLBOND FIRE STOP ACRYLIC SEALANT is formulated with non-combustible inorganic materials to help prevent the spared of fire, smoke and toxic gases through construction openings. It is the ideal product for residential construction and meets all sections of the newly adopted international Residential Building Code. In addition, adhesion properties are superior to other products on the market-it literally sticks to the most common construction materials and is semi-flexible.
TYPICAL USES ·        Fire blocking applications in the annular space around wires, pipes, ducts, vents, cable lines and other penetrations to the building envelope. ·        Can be applied to any gap or penetration where the specification is noncombustible and/or     ASTM E **6 rated ·        Used for interior applications only ·        Single family dwelling in nonrated partitions ·        Multifamily dwelling of less than three stories in non-rated partitions. Party walls between dwelling units are generally rated and required fire stopping. KEY FEATURES ·        Completely nontoxic and contains no asbestos or PCBs ·        Non combustible ·        Applied with a conventional caulking gun ·        Easily applied sealant with water cleanup capabilities ·        An accredited fire block/smoke seal caulk ·        Single component system, no mixing necessary and no additions required ·        Meets residential construction code approvals including I.R.C ·        For interior applications only ·        Excellent adhesion to a wide variety of substratematerial
