Description


Characteristic: It is light yellow crystal powder, slightly dissolves in water but dissolves in chloroform, ethanol and other organic solvents. Stable when dry but easy to decomposed in strong acid and strong alkali. It can be further machined to be granules.
Usage: It is an excellent selective brominating agent, mainly be used in compounding of pharmaceutical intermediate and the gain rate and cost performance ratio are better than NBS (N-bromosuccinimide). Besides, it could be used as sterilization and algae killer to industrial circulating cooling water, as disinfectant to water bodies of aquaculture and swimming pool, and as disinfectant to environments of hotel, hospital etc public places.
