Acrylic ceramic membrane coating applicable to all kinds of roofing systems: bituminous, roofing paper, asphalt and wood surfaces as well as wood based products, ceramic and concrete tiles, rust-free metal surfaces (galvanized sheets, tin, cast iron or steel) previously primed and suitably reinforced. It is water acrylic resin based, contains no solvent and is safe for humans and the environment. Through around *8% of solar and UV radiation reflectance prevents roof from excessive heating, premature ageing of coating, reduces expansion and contraction of roof coats (thermal cycling) which prevents cracking and reduces cooling costs. Coated roofs are more resistant to dirt pick-up, development of fungi, moss and lichen. Low maintenance costs Retains flexibility Resistant to extreme weather conditions General-purpose application Safe in use, contains no solvents Reduces air-conditioning costs Recommended where roof is to be protected against excessive heating causing expansion and extraction of the roof coat. Due to its properties it is to be used where adverse weather conditions prevail such as: salt spray, frequent precipitations or significant temperature variations. Recommended where aggressive air pollutants are present, in industrial areas (acid rain, smog etc.) Color: Paint can be coloured using water paint pigments or general-purpose pigments. Before adding a pigment, products must be checked for mutual tolerance (using small samples). Ingredients: Water (about *4%), acrylic dispersion - acrylic latex, binder (about *7%), ceramic fillers - borosilicate hollow microspheres (about 4%), additives: defoamers, wetting agents, dispersing agents, biocide (about 3, 5%). Theoretical spreading rate 1, *7 m2/l. PRACTICAL SPREADING RATE depends on application method, surface conditions, overspray etc. Viscosity ****0 ± ***0 mPa*s Brookfield *0rmp disc 5 Density 1, 1 ± 0, *5kg/dm3 pH **9
