Also called angle iron, angle steel is the long steel with two sides mutually vertical. They are either of equal sides or different sides. Angle steel with the same side means they have the identical width. Their specification is expressed in mm, for example, "∠*0 x *0 x 3" means the equal side steel with the width of *0mm, thickness of 3mm. They can also be expressed in model, which refers to the width in cm, for instance ∠3#. The model does not stand for the dimension of different thickness, therefore their width and thickness shall be specified in the contract to avoid the use of only one model. The specification of hot-rolled angle steel of same side is 2# - *0#.
