The on-line coal ash meter is used for on-line and off-line
detection as well as the computation and control of coal ash. It is
widely applied in coal mines, coal washing plants, coal blending
plants, coking plants, coal-fired power plants, steel plants and
coal wharfs, etc. It is especially suitable for on-line coal ash
analysis on the entire belt conveyer during the coal transportation
process, and then the corresponding analog signal will be
delivered. It provides coal industries and coal blending facilities
with data reference to realize closed-loop automatic control, which
ensures the optimization of production, and therefore achieve
economic benefits to the utmost extent. The meter is also
applicable when it comes to rapid analysis of coal quality.
Measurement
principle:
On the basis of double energy γ ray absorption method, the coal ash
content can be calculated by processing data of the two rays after
passing coal attenuation.
Performance
parameters:
The main technical indexes comply with the requirements of
nuclear industry standards of the People’s Republic of China:
EJ/T ********8《γ radiation coal ash measuring meter》.
Measurement accuracy:
. When the ash content is between 0 and *5%, error ≤±0.5%;
. When the ash content is between *5% and *0%, error ≤±1.0%;
. When the ash content percentage is beyond *0%,, error
≤±2.0%;
Main functions and
technology characteristics:
(1) It adopts new nuclear electronic technology and nuclear
analysis technology, successfully develops ray spectrum automatic
stabilizing peak technology (currently this technology has been
granted as a national patent). It is capable of automatic
compensation for instrument drift caused by various factors like
environmental changes and component performance instabilities.
(2) In order to achieve the best effects possible, the whole design is tested by a combination of repeated theoretical calculation and experimental verification of Monte Carlo method.
(3) Historical records can be reviewed at any time, and displayed with a chart.
(4) The applied program setting has different operating grades and relative password protection to prevent the mishandling by unauthorized personnel. The user interface can be a DOS operating interface or WINDOWS operating interface according to onsite requirements.
(5) It achieves non-contact measurement by using the principle of ray penetrating materials. It does not produce any direct touch between the detector and the coal that is being measured, which ensures that long-term running to be stable, reliable and nonperishable.
(6) Historical data inquiry: including “coal ash”, “each route ray counting”, “detector high voltage”, “temperature insides the machine” etc. Each selection provides a choice in time intervals: 1 minute, *0 minutes, thirty minutes, 1 hour, 8 hours, or one day. The output frequency is one control signal (***0mA) per second in corresponding to the ash content to support automatic production control.
