Isopropyl Lanolate is the ester of selective Lanolin Fatty Acids reacted with Isopropyl Alcohol. The crude ester is then subjected to two stage molecular distillation where the various different molecular weight fractions of the crude ester are separated. The ester is a soft, buttery solid, which has the integrative function of emollient, lubricant, thickener, coupling agent and so on, which has many uses and finds great popularity in products requiring good lubricity ***** skin creams, foundation cream, lotions and lipsticks. It is also very easily absorbed as the product melts at normal skin temperatures offering a high degree of emolliency Also used extensively in lip products as a pay off agent , glossing agent and sunscreem. Isopropyl lanolate is use as pigment dispersant of the lipstick and as its excellent milling coupling property, which could eliminate the feeling of fatness of the high fat lipstick and help different liquid disperse equably in the lipstick. Isopropyl lanolate could also use in ointment to cure burn, dermatitis, chap, abrasion, and other skin illness.
