Carbomer **0 Kapo resin is an acrylic polymer with polyether crosslinking. It is a white loose powder, which has strong moisture absorption. Because its molecular structure contains carboxyl group, it has a certain degree of acidity and can be neutralized by basic substances to form transparent gel. After the carboxy group is ionized by neutralization, the molecular chain is dispersed and extended due to the repulsion of negative charge, which shows a great expansion state and viscosity. Kapo resin can produce high-efficiency thickening effect at a very low dosage. Kapo resin can make the liquid system have special yield value and rheological property, and only a low concentration can make some insoluble additives (particles, oil drops, etc.) achieve permanent suspension. Because of its strong suspension ability, Carbomer resin is widely used to stabilize the traditional oil / water emulsion and cream, suspension droplet particles and water insoluble substances. The viscosity of carbomer **0 gel is positively correlated with the concentration. The higher the concentration, the higher the viscosity of the gel. Carbomer **0 gel is sensitive to electrolyte ions. The presence of electrolyte makes the viscosity of carbomer **0 gel drop sharply, and the two valence ion has greater influence than monovalent ion. The decrease of viscosity of carbomer gel is mainly due to the reduction of the repulsive force of isoelectric charges on the main chain of polymer, thus reducing the actual effective concentration of carbomer in the system.

The method of dissolving Kapo

A: Pre immersion method: *4 hours in advance, Carbomer is added to deionized water for dissolution according to the actual production requirements, without mixing. After kapom is naturally absorbed, it is not allowed to see that there is white powder on the surface, and the solution can not see the white agglomerates, and stir evenly, and then add neutralizer (Kapo: neutralizer =1:   1. Kapo:   5% neutralizer solution = 1.4.5) adjust pH value to about 7 and reach thickening state. Use circular tools or dispersing machine to stir evenly at low speed.
