SQzyme HSA LÂ is a heat
stable alpha-amylase enzyme [3.2.1.1] made from the refined strain
of Bacillus licheniformis through liquid submerged
fermentation.Â
SQzyme HSA LÂ has excellent heat resistance and adaptability
under lower pH and calcium ion consistency. It is applied broadly
for liquefaction in the industry of fuel ethanol, distillery, beer,
starch, monosodium glutamate, organic acid fermentation and textile
desizing.

PRINCIPLE
It
rapidly and randomly hydrolyzes terminal 1,4 α-D-glucose bonds of
the starch chains with release of mainly dextrin and little glucose
and maltose, so as to reduce the viscosity and liquefy the
starch.
