La description
The GTCOM transfers messages about events of the security system to
the  mobile phone of a user via GSM communication channel. The
module receives Contact ID DTMF codes from the dial-up communicator
of security control panel, converts them into readable texts and
sends SMS message to the mobile phone of a user.
Upon alarm occur, the module will generate SMS message about
alarmed sensors. Door, PIR, Fire etc. SMS message is being sent to
a user in-line with a short call. This is to reduce the probability
that a user will not observe  SMS message.
It is possible to send SMS and to call to *6 users. The algorithm
of message sending is MS1,SMS2...SMSn till all SMSÂ
messages will be send. AfterÂ
DIAL1,DIAL2....DIALn. All messages areÂ
being sent until all users willÂ
be notified about the event.Â
Preferred messages and texts ofÂ
these messages should be definedÂ
when programming the module.
The module understands when the call is rejected and will not
repeat calling. When the module is calling to the users phone, the
user can not reject the call at least *5 seconds. Other wise the
module will understand that the users number is busy and will try
to repeat the call again. In a case the users number is busy in
fact, the module will make repetitive calls following the
programmed number of calls. Efficiency of this function
depends on interpretation of call control by theÂ
operator; in some cases theÂ
operator  may wrongly interpretÂ
the call and thus the moduleÂ
will make repetitive calls each *0 seconds, following the
programmed number of repetitions (by default 3 repetitions) . In
such case GSM operator may be changed or simply the amount of DIAL
repetitions reduced.
Parameters of the module are set by sending SMS or via PC by using
standard mini USB cable and configuration software SERA. InÂ
order to activate voice listeningÂ
it is necessary to call fromÂ
a users telephone number. WhenÂ
calling, the module will immediately activateÂ
voice listening, which will last as long as the user will
reject the call or when the  module willÂ
start performing other commands.Â
Calls from other telephone numbersÂ
(of non-authorized users) are ignored.
