VISCO cold water soluble starch delivers all the quality you would
expect from a traditional cook-up starch, yet there is no need for
heating and subsequent cooling. It is developed by changing the
granular structure of native starch by physical modification and
chemical reaction to convert it into cold water soluble starch. The
internal structure of each granule is disrupted, allowing it to
hydrate fully without cooking at any stage and has such
characteristics like high soluble in cold water and strong water
absorption.
Applications / Advantages:
1)   It is intended for cold manufacturing
processes where there is need for fast hydration, high tolerance to
the process and a long shelf-life.
2)   Cold water soluble starch is used as a
binder for briquettes in coal, foundry, Incense stick and mosquito
coil industry.
3)   VISCO cold water soluble starch finds much
favor as a binder for coatings and as an adhesive in paper
industry.
4)   Cold water soluble starch is widely
utilized in the fish feeding industry as binding agent and to
increase the durability of pellets in aqueous solutions.
