We are Dongduong Product Joint Stock Company, we are producing
and exporting all kind of spices products, kindly present black
cardamon with specification as following:
 Cardamom is actually a member of the same family, to which
ginger and turmeric belong. There are two varieties or genera of
cardamom, known as Elettaria and Amomum, both of which belong to
the same family Zingiberaceae. Elettaria is generally referred as
the ‘true cardamom‘ or green cardamom and can be distinguished by
the green color of the seedpod. On the other hand, the Amomum
variety is larger than the Elettaria variety, and has a brown
colored seedpod.
Amomum cardamom is also known as black cardamom and brown
cardamom. The green or true cardamom is indigenous to India, Sri
Lanka, Malaysia and some other areas of the southern Asia, while
the black cardamom is native to Asia and Australia. The cardamom
seedpods are generally harvested before they ripe, after which
they are dried in the sun or with the help of drying machine. The
seedpods of both the varieties enclose a number of small and
highly aromatic black seeds. Cardamom spice can be found in the
cuisines across the world, but more commonly in Indian, Middle
Eastern, European, as well as in Scandinavian cuisines.
