coco peat is extracted from coconut husk and is **0%organic. The coco peat can be used in place of peat moss and totally from renewable source and does not harm the environment like rock wool and other inorganic growing mediam. The coco peat can be used as soil amendment to improve the water retention and to improve the texture of soil to suit the growing requirement. The coco peat can be used as a ready to grow organic grow bags, which is widely used in France , Spain and USA, by farmers in growing tomatoes, eggplants and strawberries. The coco cut husk is used as mulch to avoid weed growth and to improve the areation in the root zone. The coco peat has very low decomposition rate and retains 5 to 6 times water to its weight. The coco peat releases the nutrients in sustained manner and optimises the use of fertilizers. The coco peat bales are made in *0 x *0 x *5 cms and weigh about 5 ***** coco brickets weigh **0 grams and the size is *0 x *0 x 5 cms. The coco cut husk chips are of size *0 x *0 x *5 cms and weighs about 4.2 kgs. The bales are packed in pallets and about *0 to *4 tonnes can be loded in one *0 foot container. The husk is processed to remove the fibres and the pith so extracted is washed of salts and pectins and tanins. The washed peat is dried in concrete floors in direct sunlight and seived to remove the sand and other impurities. The EC of the material is maintained very low so that addition of inorganic nutrients does not increase the EC level , harmful to the plant. The PH of the material also between 5.8 to 6.5 and is very condusive for plant growth. The quality of the material is reqularly tested and ensured at all times.
