WE SPECIALIZE in harvesting African Rosewood, Mukwa &
Rhodesian (Zambesi) Teak or Kiaat. These three species grow
in sub-Saharan countries such as Zambia, Zimbabwe, Angola and
Tanzania. The trees prefer the sandy soils deposited by the
winds that blew off the Kalahari desert eons ago when the desert
extended much further north and east than it does
today.
ALL OUR TIMBERis legally harvested from our local Open
Woodland Forest in the South West of Zambia. We have a Concession
Licence to harvest and cut our timber and exported in accordance
with all local rules and regulations. In addition, we
support local reforestation efforts and have funded the replanting
of over *0,**0 trees, approximately *0 times as many as have been
harvested as a result of our business.
