With the intention of operating in the UK, the name WeldTurk has
been specially selected and named for the harmony of the words
"Weld" and "Turk".
With the inspiration taken from the name WeldTurk, WeldTurk
Consultancy and Control firm was established by Mehmet Umut elik in
***1, in order to contribute to Intercountry engineering
information sharing.

The primary goal of WeldTurk Consulting and Control firm is to
establish efficient commercial relationships in the welding
industry, raw material supply, and all sectors that demand
outsourced labor service by building an environment of trust with
active customer relations; to ensure customer satisfaction by
meeting the incoming demands quickly and reliably, especially with
the win-win principle and to be a reliable brand that plays an
active role in the consultancy needs of companies.

Mehmet Umut elik is the founder and manager of WeldTurk Consulting
and Control.
I was born in ***1 in Gaziantep /Turkey. After completing My high
school education in Gaziantep, I got into Ankara Gazi
University Metal Education in ***2.
I started my career in ***5 as a Welding Instructor and
Controller.
In ***7, with the CSWIP 3.1 Welding Inspector certificate received
from TWI/UK, I worked in the Saudi Arabian oil separation project
of Aramco, the leading company in the welding industry that sets
the basis of standards and documents related to welding in the
world.
In the continuation of the project, I worked as Quality Supervisor
in Qatar Ras Laffan-QCS 3&4 Project, which was the 3rd largest
LNGÂ (Natural Gas Liquefaction) project in the world at that
time.

Subsequently, I have served as welding controller and NDT personnel
in several dam equipment manufacturing projects and in the assembly
of the third bridge across the Bosphorus (Yavuz Sultan Selim
Bridge) in Istanbul/Turkey.

After completing my education in the Manufacturing Engineering
program in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Istanbul
Technical University in ***8, I started working as a Technical
Purchasing Engineer in Zimed Medical/Turkey.

I have worked professionally for 3 years with nearly **0 suppliers
on raw material supply and contract work (Precision forging,
Precision casting), including suppliers from countries such as
America, England, France, Germany, China, Pakistan, India,
Malaysia. I have made purchases worth around **0 Thousand***0
Thousand US Dollars on yearly basis.

I have seven years of experience in internationally recognized
major projects in welding, in addition to three years of
procurement engineering experience in international contract labor
(Casting and Forging) service and raw material supply.
Besides being extremely skilled in planning, organizing, training,
and explaining the quality and delivery protocols thoroughly in an
easy-to-understand manner, the strong characteristics of Mehmet
