PQ Chemicals (Thailand) Ltd. is a wholly owned subsidiary of the PQ Corporation, the Valley Forge-based Chemicals and Engineered glass Materials Company. PQ is one of the world s largest producers of detergent grade zeolite, supplying all major detergent manufacturers. The detergent grade zeolite plant in Thailand is located in Laem Chabang Industrial Estate, Chonburi province. The plant started production in January ***3, with *0, **0 tons production capacity and the expansion to *0, **0 tons has been completed and in operation since September 1, ***5 and further to *0, **0 tons in December ***5. The plant utilizes the latest and most modern technology with **0 per cent Thai operating staffs who is capable of producing the high-quality product supply to all our major customers. The distinct location provides an easy access to the Laem Chabang port, a gateway to the gulf of Thailand. Our products PQ zeolites, with their many functional benefits, are important ingredients in detergent formulations. Zeolites make possible the formulation of high-performance low-cost, environmentally friendly detergent that is phosphate-free.
