Mardesic *****

The Mardesic factory is located on the island Dugi otok (Croatia), in the town of Sali, and produces canned fish, mostly sardines and mackerels, and filletted salted anchovies. Founded in ***5, Mardesic has grown during the years and has always been up-to-date with the technological progress, but respecting the tradition, keeping all the freshness of the sea and giving great importance to the origin of the fish. Today the factory has *0 employees, a daily production of *0.**0 cans of sardines, a freezing capacity of *0.**0 kg per day and provides frozen storage for ***0 tons of fish. The Summer months are dedicated to salted anchovies, while the rest of the year the production is oriented to the canned programme, with a special accent on sardines during Autumn when the catch is intense and the fish can be processed fresh.
