Eglett chamber is home to heritage hand-crafting of leather. All crafts held and hosted at the chamber with pride are co-designed and co-created with our users to address user experience in the best manner.

Leather

We stick to traditional methods of vegetable tanning that are done using organic solutions. The leather therefore we obtain has a deep sense of heritage outlook and grows rich tones of patina as it ages. It holds premium value and can last several lifetimes.

Craftsmanship

Heart of Chamber! Craftsmanship takes place in several stages that also vary with different products(for e.g, rough-edged pockets, bred edge pockets and zipper pockets have different requirements). At all of these stages, extensive prototyping is practiced to ensure the best usability and aesthetics(for e.g, thread, and leather color combination).

These processes are carried out by the finest craftsmen with their delicate handwork. (By handcrafting, it is fair to assume the use of several machines that involve hand use and help with processes such as stitching and skiving After choosing appropriate leather according to the craft, skewing process is carried out to achieve a standard gauge. Simultaneously, design patterns are made and refined for the craft with the most precise measurements. Here onwards, individual elements are cut through the help of the dye cutting process. Finally, these pieces are put forward for stitching where subtle details are observed and taken care of. Once all of these processes are carried out, crafts are taken to the quality assurance unit for refinement, fixation, and sorting of finest crafts. Crafts are now ready to hit the store.
