The Story of Lapox® . . . Lapox® Epoxy Resins and Hardener systems are manufactured and marketed by Atul Limited, a part of the Lalbhai group : a prominent Business House of India in existence for nearly **0 years. The manufacture of Epoxy systems begun in ***8 in a company established as a Joint Venture of Atul with Ciba, Switzerland. In ***9, on the merger of the JV with the parent company, the Epoxy operations became a part of Atul Limited. The other business of the company includes manufacture and marketing of Agrochemicals, Dyestuffs, Pharmaceuticals, Bulk Intermediates and Cresol based Aromatics. Our Global Turnover in the last financial year was US$ **0 million. Having achieved a leadership position in the domestic market of Epoxy Systems, the company intends to play its rightful part in the global market. It has plans to build on the success already achieved in certain segments of the European and North American markets. The strategy is to target niche markets offering customized solutions for challenging applications. Recently added products such as Epoxy Novolacs, Multifunctional Epoxy Resins, Bis F Resins, Brominated Epoxies, Cycloaliphatic Epoxy Resins have enlarged the long-standing grades offered by the company for applications in casting, laminating, civil electrical, composites and coating industries. These are strongly supported by a well-equipped Application Development Center and Synthesis as well as Analytical Labs. Apart from an intensive network of branch offices and dealers in India, the Company has established marketing subsidiaries in UK (Manchester), Germany (Wiesbaden), USA (Charlotte) and China (Shanghai) and a stock point at Rotterdam. Besides, it has enterprising Agents / Dealers in *5 countries globally including UK, France, Germany & USA. These dealers stock Lapox® to cater to the needs of their regular customers.
