Palm Oil is a type of tropical fruit oil which is currently the world's largest production of vegetable oil, which include the international trade as well as the consumption of both rapeseed oil and soybean oil. The palm oil that we extract from the pulp will be the primary palm oil in which we will undergo processing and refining process. Palm oil is essentially reddish in colour in nature due to the presence of beta-carotene content. It is commonly confused with palm kernel oil as both oils are from the same fruit. The main differences between palm oil and palm kernel oil is the colour. Raw palm kernel oil lacks carotenoids hence it will not appear red in colour.
