Açai is a typical and unique Brazilian Super Fruit. It grows
in Palm trees in the Northern part of Brazil, in the Amazon.
Its a common dish, desert, drink, jam, sweet and ice-cream flavour
throughout Brazil.
They use it to make smoothies, health drinks or just as a great
sorbet you can eat any time a day. Especially after a good
workout!
Usually frozen, the Açai sorbet, or as Brazilians call it;
açai na tigela, can be accompanied by many healthy
ingredients as strawberries, banana, cereal, milk powder etc.

The taste is unique and many find it so delicious that it becomes

The berry is sweet but not too much. Its aroma is strong and fresh.
It has a little hint of bitterness to it and its grainy but smooth
texture makes you begging for more. It is dark purple almost black
in coloring which distinguishes itself from anything else.
