Description

Evergreen Jadeâ„¢ is the latest premium nephrite jade discovered in Western Washington. In its highest grades, this material is a deep, highly translucent green with no inclusions and finely felted fibers.  This fine felting makes the jade very hard and allows it to be brought to a mirror polish with ease.  The jewelry and carvings made from this jade glow even under relatively mundane light conditions, giving it a sometimes icey appearance.

As our exploration efforts continue, we are finding even more beautiful and interesting outcrops of this Evergreen Jadeâ„¢. Each giant seed is different, containing some combination of pure translucent green nephrite, chatoyance, semi-botryoidal swirls, and metallic flecks. We are learning a great deal about how these seeds have formed, so we can now consistently extract all grades of Evergreen Jadeâ„¢ in commercial quantities.  Keep an eye on our website (WashingtonJade.com) as we continue to roll out our most spectacular Washington jades.
