Motion Mate Module: IC**4DSM**4
The Motion Mate Module, IC**4DSM**4, is a multi-axis motion
control module. It supports two control loop configurations:
â–ª Standard Mode (Follower Control Loop Disabled)
â–ª Follower Mode (Follower Control Loop Enabled)
The DSM**4 Module can be used with GE Fanuc α Series and β
Series digital servo amplifiers and motors. It can also be used
with
analog GE Fanuc SL Series analog servos and third-party analog
velocity command interface and analog torque command interface
servos. Module features include:
â–ª Velocity Feed forward and Position Error Integrator
â–ª High resolution of programming units
â–ª Simple and powerful motion program instruction set
â–ª Simple 1 to *-axis motion programs
â–ª Non-volatile storage for *0 programs and *0 subroutines
â–ª Single-point-of-connect for programming and configuration.
â–ª Firmware is stored in flash memory and is updated via COMM
port.
â–ª Recipe programming using command parameters.
â–ª Electronic CAM capability
â–ª Home and overtravel switch inputs for each Servo Axis

Digital Servo Tuning monitor
â–ª High speed digital output (four each *4V and four each 5V) via
on-board Local Logic control
