Description

XMILE was originally discovered by a Japanese research team that studied enzyme-based solutions for the cleaning of water pipes and tanks. XMILE, however, proved to be very effective for treating bottom sludge in fuel tanks by converting the hydrocarbon elements in sludge back into fuel. Consequently, XMILE also contributed to better and more reliable combustion because it prevents contamination of fuel circuits and filters. Since then, XMILE enzyme formulations have been shown to have appreciable benefits in terms of improved combustion from spark ignition engines, road diesel engines, gas turbines, heavy marine diesels, and commercial and power station boilers. XMILE can be summarized as an advanced enzyme-based solution for increasing fuel efficiency and plant reliability.

Enzymes belong to a group of organic compounds called proteins that are of great importance in all forms of living matter. Many enzymes have high specificity with respect to the substances whose reactions they catalyze. They lower the activation energy necessary to initiate or sustain a chemical reaction. They do not become part of the substrate chemical. When the fuel is burned the enzymes are burned with it. They do not cause specific pollution as they are normal organic substances and do not contain heavy metals.
