Indications:
  • Alignment and stabilization of large bone fragments
  • Stabilization of periarticular fractures of large joints
  • Nonunions or malunions of large bone fragments
  • Arthrodesis of large joints; foot, knee, ankle, elbow
 
 
 
Contraindications
  • Small bone fragmens
  • Active infection in surgical area
  • Systemic contraindications for the surgery
  • Insufficient quantity or quality of the bone
  • Patients with mental or neurological disability
  • Foreign body sensitivity.
