Properties:Â No taste, highly toxic,
flammable, slight deliquescence, not decompose at common
temperature and atmospheric pressure, can miscibility with ethyl
ether, chloroform, acetone, etc. Slightly soluble in ethanol,
insoluble in water.
Application:Â Mainly used as flame retardant
plasticizer of engineering plastic and phenolic resin laminated
board, also used for nitrocellulose, cellulose acetate, and as
plasticizer of polyvinyl chloride. Also used as a softening agent
of synthetic rubber, resistance to gasoline, incombustible
substitute of camphor glue fiber, raw material to manufacture
trimethyl phosphate.
Storage Notes:Â Seal stored in cold, dry,
ventilated place, away from fire and heat source, apart from
oxidant, don’t mixed store, equipped with corresponding type and
number fire equipment, storage area should be equipped with the
right material for leakage content.
