Permanent Magnetic Drum Separator is mainly used for removing ferrous granular contaminants from a wide range of continuous free-flowing bulk materials, can be widely used in the flour industry, rice industry, feed industry, oil industry and starch industry, which opens the way to new efficiency in handling big volumes of material encountered in today's material processing applications.
Permanent magnetic drum separator is formed by buffering box, permanent separation roller drum, driving device, housing, ferrous impurities separation bucket and materials separation bucket.
After the free-flowing bulk materials get into the buffer box, they will slowly distribute onto the drum evenly, with the rotation of the permanent drum, the ferrous contaminants which mixed in the bulk materials will be captured by the strong magnetic field of a staionary magnetic assembly inside. As the drum rotates, the non-ferrous materials will fall into the materials separation bucket, then go to next process. And the ferrous contaminants get into ferrous impurities separation area with the rotation of the drum, and get out of the magnetic field, fall into the ferrous impurities separation bucket and discharged separately, creating continuous self-cleaning separation.
