Pineapple family is divided into two; the cayenne and the queen
groups. The cayenne group which include, the smooth, champaka and
the MD2 are the varieties sold on the international market.

Uses:Â Â Â Apart from its medicinal value, it is
being used in Polynesian cuisine. It can be canned or taken fresh
as a refreshment menu Salad ingredient or pastry. It can be used as
juice drink when extracted and even as flavour in other
