Numazu - Mishima area, where the Company is
located, is an alluvial plain spreading downstream of Kisegawa, a
tributary of Kanogawa, a class A river on the eastern side of
Shizuoka Prefecture, surrounded by the mountains of Fuji, Ashitaka
and Hakone. In this area, there is a deposit of lava flow known as
Mishima Lava where ground water is abundant and the groundwater
flows out from its edges as spring water. The lava forms a porous
layer, allowing water to flow easily and rain and snow falling on
Mt. Fuji flows down as groundwater and re-appears as spring water
in the rivers of Kakitagawa and others, chosen as the top **0 water
of Japan.
<<About the water quality>>
The forest, while located in a coastal area of Shizuoka Prefecture,
stands in a rich natural environment, surrounded by thick forests
of an elevation of about **0 meters above sea level. Water pumped
from our well is band-name quality spring water, a subsurface water
flow born from the melting snow which fell on Mt. Fuji more than a
hundred years ago, which then seeped underground. The subsurface
water flow contains large quantities of Vanadium, a rare metal
mineral. Taking this water containing Vanadium is said to work
towards preventing serious adult onset diseases and
diabetes.The
quality of the water gets a conformity judgment in a quality of the
water standard to prescribe in the food hygiene law of
Japan.
