Engine coolant and antifreeze is an important and necessary part of an engine\'s function in order to maintain its operating temperature; however, it may also bring unpleasant side-effects. While the engine is running, coolant is circulated quickly between the engine\'s insides and the radiator by a water-pump. This generates an electromagnetic field within itself and prevents its flow and lowers the engine\'s horse power. It also decays radiator and engine components when it is used for a long period of time and becomes acidified. In the worst case scenario, it becomes a conductor for the automobile battery, leading to the failure of some main components of engine.
STAR-MAX Coolant Additive was created to prevent these damaging side-effects and improve engine performance. A special chemical used as a main component of STAR-MAX Coolant Additive prevents the building of electromagnetic fields by utilizing negative ions. It also prevents loss of horse power and neutralizes acidified coolant, thereby extending the life of engine and its components. Treatment Rate & Instruction
The recommended treatment rateis1 part of STAR-MAX Coolant Additive per ****0 parts of regular coolant/water mixture. STAR-MAX Coolant Additive comes in **0 mL bottles for convenience of treating small/mid-size automobiles, **0 mL bottles for large-size automobiles, and 1 L bottles for large trucks and heavy machinery.
If you are changing used coolant into new one, then after draining old coolant, add STAR-MAX Coolant Additive first, and then add a new coolant/water mixture into radiator until it is full.
If you are going to add STAR-MAX Coolant Additive on existing coolant without changing, then remove about the same amount of STAR-MAX Coolant Additive, which you are going to add, from existing coolant from radiator using a big dropper, and then add STAR-MAX Coolant Additive.
Adding STAR-MAX Coolant Additive would extend the period of coolant change; however, it is recommended to follow the engine manufacture\'s change recommendation and add STAR-MAX Coolant Additive every time coolant is changed.
CAUTION: Do not add STAR-MAX Coolant Additive when engine is running or hot. Opening radiator cap, while engine is running or when it is hot, is extremely dangerous. Do not add STAR-MAX Coolant Additive into coolant reservoir.
