location of “Piani Marzano”, an area located in the province of
Reggio Calabria. The cultivation of the olives is a family passion,
renewed from one generation to the next, which over the years has
constantly evolved, remaining loyal to those values which are our
very core​​: quality and control of the supply
chain.
The extra virgin olive oil is one of the highest excellence product of the Italian agriculture, a quality product which highly increase the consumer awareness.
Too many attempts have been made to relegate olive oil to a role of mere commodity, trying an adulteration of the product, which have nothing to do with the well-established traditions of our country.As well as wine, each extra virgin is the bearer of a specific "dignity", able to tell us a story which comes from the indissoluble connection between product and territory, adyadic relationship that explains the peculiar characteristics of each oil.
It’s in this context that our production must be seen: a "triptych" of extra virgin olive oils of equal quality and value, but each characterized by a specific taste and aroma.A limited production that willable to satisfy all your needs.
The “TER”oil – iswinner of the Prestige Gold prize at "TerraOlivo” international competition in Israel, a Mediterranean International Olive Oil Competition which took place in ***1 – It is one of tastier blend among themajor Calabrian olive productions (Ottobratica, Tombarello and Ciciarello): This type of oil has aromas of fruits with the fruitiness of green olives and a clean-looking, it’s ideal with red meat grilled or baked, mushrooms and fish (especially tuna and swordfish) cooked on the plate.
"Coroneiki",obtained from the homonymous cultivation, has a clear appearance, an harmonious taste, and reveals "sweet" notes, followed by a "hot" and "bitter" taste. This is alight and very fine oil, excellenton pasta or bean soups, rawmeat and venison roast.
Finally the "Laureanum", monocultivation obtained from the prestigious Nocellara olives: it offers intense aromas of fruity olives picked when still green and reveals, in succession, complex sensations of ripe tomato and herbs. Its balsamic taste makes it ideal with seafood appetizers, marinated raw fish, shellfish and white meat baked or grilled.
La Nocellara del Belice
