The breakers have overload, short-circuit and under voltage protection function, so used in protecting the circuit and the power equipment against damage.
The MCCB,
according to the rated ultimate short circuit breaking capacity
(Icu), could be classified four kinds of types C (basic type), L
(typical type), M (second high breaking type) and H (high breaking
type). The breakers could be installed vertically or horizontally.
