 Traditional grain storage methods - natural ventilation, take-grain-out and drug fumigation – cause a loss of up to **3% or more in the reserve process, for problems such as water reduction, pests and mildew might happen. Therefore, a grain depot with a billion kilograms of storage capacity may suffer a loss of several million Yuan. However, low temperature storage technology can handle the problems to avoid such great loss. The grain chiller can continuously provide cold air with temperature and humidity needed, so various grains such as corn, rice, wheat and seeds can be preserved in a variety range of low temperature, ensuring the food stay fresh while reducing all kinds of losses and thus improving economic and social benefits.

GL Series grain chiller features a wide range of temperature and humidity adjustable for different requirement. During the preserving process, patented front structure and air distribution devices are used to achieve a broad tuning range of temperature and humidity, so as to guarantee food quality.

Key components such as compressors, high pressure blower, electrical control panel provided by SULZER, can guarantee *0,**0 hours of trouble-free operation.

Strong adaptability: the unit can run under an environment temperature from *****3 ℃. Even if there is large change in environmental humidity, the unit can still remain stable operation. The unit can be used in the North as well as in the South.

Simple operation and high precision: Intelligent computer control enables simple operation without professional programming from PLC (Programmable Logic Controller). Regardless of environmental changes, the air outlet temperature will fluctuates within ± 1 ℃, and the air humidity will always stay constant in the desired value.

 

A wide range of humidity adjustment

GL series products is equipped with front loaders structure (centrifugal fan located in front of the evaporator), which enables a wide range of cooling air outlet humidity, up to ****5%. On the contrary, the grain chiller of back loaders structure has a range of negative relative humidity of *0% less, which is not conducive to appropriate water content for grain storage.
