SHACKLE

Shackles are manufactured in two configurations for use in rigging:

Anchor shackle—has a rounded eye which makes it suitable for attaching one or more lifting devies, such as hooks and slings

Chain shackle—has a straight eye designed for connecting to a single lifting device.

Both typies are avaiable with screw pins, round pins, or safety bolts.

Each shackle shall be permanently and legibly marked in raised or stamped letters on the side of the shackle body with an identofying manufacturer’s name or trademark, shackle size, and WLL.

Anchor shackle

Usage: These shackles are great for protecting lifting slings from damage due to cutting or abrasion. Made of galvanized steel, these shackles are durable but should not be used in high moisture conditions. For high moisture, check our stainless bolt type shackles which will last considerably longer in those conditions.

Description:

Process: heat-treated, drop forged, tempered and quenchered

Surface: galvanized, color painted

Finished: CE WLL SIZE LOGO

Safety factor: B.L.= 4*1W.L.L.
