1. DMX address code setting:
Each DMX decoder occupied 3 channels of DMX
addresses and it adopts dip switch to set address. The dip switch
is a binary numerical switch which is setting DMX original address
code from 1 to 9, 1 is the lowest, and 9 is the highest. There are
**1 address codes could be setted in all. DMX original address code
equal to aggregate value of the dip switch value from 1 to 9.
Turning the dip switch downwards(ON is setted to 1), the value of
this bit can be gotten. On the contrary, the value of this bit is
0(the number, **1~**6, at the bottom of dip switch, is the value
when the switch, just on the top of the number, is setted as the
status of ‘ON’ ).
For example:
Look at the following
picture. If you want to set *7 as the address code, you can only
dial down the first, the third and the sixth dip switch, and the
aggregate value of dip switch value from 1 to 9 is 1*4**2, that is,
the original address code of DMX**2 is *7.
2. The tenth bit of
dip switch is a function switch. When it’s setted as 0(up
direction), the function of DMX signal receiving is enabled. On the
contrary, the function of inherent modes of this controller is
enabled. 3.When the tenth bit of dip switch is setted
as ‘ON’(1), the inherent modes are as follows:
4. In inherent modes,
switch 8=ON shows the seven-color jumpy changing, and switch 9=ON
shows the seven-color gradual changing. Both of the effects have 8
steps of speed: The dip switch 1 to 7 is OFF(0): step 1

decoder shows: to carry out the effects of gradual changing, and
the speed of change is step 8. Attentions:
