I have a large collection of rare seashells from all over the world. Most have a tag listing the birth date and number of the shell and the provenance of where and how deep it was found. I also have numerous extremely large shells that are not tagged so I do not know what they are. There is one flat of shells that are smaller that also have not been tagged.

I have spent some time researching these and from what I can tell, most are a five or six star rating of rarity on chonchology. They also seem to be much larger.

I have a good idea of what these are worth and someone willing to buy these will also know what they are worth. I am willing to negotiate a fair price where both of us are happy. I do not collect shells and I do not want to continue holding such a delicate item...so lets talk.

I have included a list of what I have. If you would like pictures please call me and tell me which you want to see. These are all wrapped in napkins and seem to have been wrapped for many years and stored in tubs, tupperware and plastic bags. Almost all of them still have the creature inside. I don't want to keep unwrapping them and there are too many to take a picture of each one.

Upon purchase, we will need to agree on a third party to accept the shells from me. You will then have an opportunity to review the shells. Once paid for via paypal or our third party, I will instruct the third party to release the shells to you. If the shells are not as I have said they are, you do not have to purchase. If you are in Chicagoland, I will meet you at a well populated location to review the shells.
