HIKMA responds fully to the quality norms of extra virgin olive oil issued by the International Olive Oil Council (IOOC) of which Tunisia is a member.
Originating / coming our proper, or controlled plantations of the
region of Sahel and Kairouan, olives are picked / collected /
gathered with hands then are selected washed and crushed (ground),
the pulp is kneads / mixed then squeezed coldly to extract the best
of its oil, without neither chemical, no thermic intervention.
A rigorous control is adapted all long the production process,
owing to the fact that it assured since the collection of olives in
the country side, then in the unity of conditioning and finally
towards the unity of stocking and in the loading.
Those controls are carried out according to the recommendations and the norms of the ICCO.
