EMS can be installed at any position of metallurgical length of con-caster theoretically. According to the installation position, it can be divided into three types:
.Mould
Electromagnetic Stirrer: M-EMS. .Strand Electromagnetic
Stirrer: S-EMS.
·Final Electromagnetic Stirrer: F-EMS.
Mould Electromagnetic Stirrer: MEMS can be divided into interior installed type and exterior installed type as per the installation position; and water dipping structure (with Dupont film) and hollow copper tube structure as per the winding material.
Electromagnetic stirring can be divided into separate type and multi-segment combined type. Multi-segment combined stirring can be divided into M +F, and M+S+F, etc.
According to the user’s requirement, we provide square and round bloom electromagnetic stirrers of various kinds of section. Now the biggest stirring section of electromagnetic stirrer put into operation is φ**0mm, and the electromagnetic stirrer with stirring section of φ***0mm is currently being developed.
